Carol M.

“I love it, I love everything about it” these are the words spoken by Carol M. when I asked, ‘What do you like about the Adult Day Health Center at Manor on the Hill?”

Before coming to the Adult Day Health Center at Manor on the Hill in 2023, Carol went through a very challenging time after COVID. The isolation left her feeling alone and unsure of where she belonged. During that season, Carol prayed and asked God to help her find a place where she could feel connected again, a place where she could meet people, a place where she could belong.

That prayer was answered when Carol found the Adult Day Health Center at Manor on the Hill. From the moment she arrived, she knew it was special. She loves coming each day and looks forward to seeing familiar faces. Carol enjoys socializing and helping others, whether it is offering encouragement, or simply sitting with someone who needs company.

Helping people makes Carol feel needed and valued. At the center, she has found purpose, friendship, and a sense of belonging she once prayed for. Carol’s days are now filled with joy, meaning, and gratitude—proof that sometimes the place we’re searching for finds us right when we need it most.
